I’ve been so busy that I missed out on a Q1 update this year! I got entangled in a jumbo commision which lasted from about October to just now! 🤯
But lets go chronologically. At the start of this year, I set up 4 Kiltwalk pages as I’m attempting to clear all four of them 💪

The first one in April happens to be the most gnarly clocking in at 23 miles. Wish me luck (or a miracle).
And the other epic charity work I did was a Gameblast! The last Splatoon 2 one I did was a great time so I was itching to take part again. My spark of genius was to combine my latest addiction (Sonic Racing Crossworlds) with my Robotnik cosplay gear to create a “Racing With Robotnik” stream.

Returning with a Rev
This year I’ve decided to combine two of my favourite past times. Playing videogames and behaving like a gigantic clown. I will be attempting to reach max rank on Sonic Racing Crossworlds with the added caveat of cosplaying on stream as Dr Robotnik.
Rank-up Regalia
The in-game online rank system starts at 9 and caps out at 1.
I’m currently on rank 9 so I have no idea how long the stream will last for! Realistically I expect a full days gaming out of it. At my age I’m a little on the brittle side for 24 hour gaming sessions (especially while in-costume) so the stream will likely last just from midday to late evening.
Each rank-up will be a different part of the Robotnik cosplay coming together

Wheely Bad
It’s actually possible to decrease in rank while playing! And to make my likely failure a bit more entertaining I’ve set up a wheel of misfortune to inflict a unique inconvenience onto me every time it happens.
I’ll have to suffer the consequences of each until I recover the lost rank.
Grating Garbling – I’ll have to stay in character for the whole race
Aura Debuff – Have to play as a naff character
Seeing Red – Must wear the red tinted spectacles
Hampered Handling – Have to wear the Robotnik gloves. Very unwieldly
Mirror Mod – Wear the coat backwards,
So this was my intent! but foolishly, I neglected to check if there was a in-game event on that weekend (there was).
So I opted to just shove the whole outfit on. Give the people what they want 😎
I ended up playing 8 hours on both Saturday & Sunday and made sure to record the whole thing. And out of all of that, I cut together a 13 minute long supercut of all the worthwhile moments.
Streaming, chatting rubbish and playing around with all the cool things OBS can do was a lot of fun!

Now for the mentioned giga-commision. It did take a lot longer then expected (I joked a few months back about doing it as a Christmas gift 🙄 very optimistic).
There was no official deadline thankfully, so we just took our time to get it as good as possible. It’s nice to have a cooperative and patient patron! Without further ado, behold! 👀
As you’ve no doubt sussed, each individual character has a fair bit of gimmickry and thought put into them. We wanted to exaggerate everyone’s best/funniest qualities.

Blog over! To reiterate yet again, more legend of fail episodes are incoming 😩 I’ve gotta edit the footage to inspire up a opening animation on 2 levels. And now that this commissions done I have the time to do it 😀
