Dundee Kiltwalk is Dun-Done!

The Dundee one was pleasant as always. Lots of variety on the path and a good portion of it is in nature.

Edinburgh (Edinburger?) conquered!

That’s the big fitness project for this year done! As mentioned, next year we’re aiming to do 3 Kiltwalks in 2025. Likely gear up serious training at the start of next year.

And more importantly, we have reached our desired goal for the two pages. Bringing our total to over a thousand quid 🙂

Now onto art. Another co-worker had left and I whipped up a goodbye cartoon card for him. Here’s the development of it.

So you may recall me talking about Burnz’s commissions last post. So on that front I’ve finished his logo, and now his first illustration. Will start his second illustration next year as I have some projects I need to rush before this year is over. Here’s the progress GIF of his drawing.

Wholesome family fun! Now, a bit of a primer for Q4 2024. I’ve been commissioned by Bowiecube/Faisal to render a meme animation in time for Christmas as a gift for someone, which I’m woefully behind on.

I plan to start storyboarding and writing for that immediately after this blog post. And the other project in tandem is an escape room I’ve been designing!

2024 is the 15th year anniversary of Fakemas. So I’ve decided to skip buying presents (we’ve bought each other every gift in existence at this point) and instead do something a bit more memorable and creative. I’ve hired out a cottage for us to have a long weekend in, and I’ve been having a lot of fun piecing it all together. This video is all I can unveil thus far for fear of spoilers, but I definitely will do a post-breakdown and record the event to make a video out of.

Sadly I think Legend of fail will be on the backburner for this year. As the crew get older and older, it’s getting more difficult to summon us all together. Hard to justify using up holidays and the distance traveling just so we can get angry at one another lol. (next year hopefully)
